I was so happy to see these fun girls back. Big sister { I } is one of my favorite models and is such a ham in front of the camera. I also couldn’t believe how much her little sister had grown! This family is always fun to photograph, they are very natural in front of the camera and I have gotten some of my favorite all-time portraits out of them. Here are just a few of the ones I loved this time…okay, more than just a few! 
I really do have an excuse for not keeping up with my blog. A really good one this time. I was on vacation out West! I had a wonderful time out in Utah and Wyoming visiting family and relaxing. I think it was the most laid back vacation I have ever had. I do have some blogging to catch up on though. My goal it to bust out a few posts this week…we will see! If you want to keep up with my most current work, I post sneak peeks of my sessions each week on my Facebook page.
It has been fun watching these pretty little girls grow up. This was a fun session and I got to try out my new white wooden floor and light gray backdrop too - I love trying new things. Here are just a few of my favorites from this May (yes, I am that behind) session.
I’ve had a pretty crappy day. So to make myself feel a little better I am going to blog one of my recent favorite sessions. What better thing to lift one’s spirits then to look at a tiny little beautiful newborn. This little guy is #3 for mom and perfect in every way. I adore this family and love that they let me capture these memories for them time after time. I can’t wait to see this little guy back again in August!

I really need to blog more. I am soooo far behind. I am still blogging about sessions from the middle of March! I have been bad about updating my website too. I have a bunch of new images ready to go up, but just haven’t had the time to actually make the new pages - rotating out old images and putting in new is very time consuming. I think that is going to be my goal this weekend.
Speaking of March sessions, this beautiful mom was a dream to photograph! She was so photogenic and the camera just loved her. She had her sweet little baby two days after her maternity session, I was lucky enough photograph the little beauty 5 days later.
Baby girl was the perfect model. You would think that with her being so well behaved for her session, and sleeping most of the time, that this would have been one of my fastest newborn session ever - nope, my longest! Yes, I do have to say that we took a ton of photos of this little sweetheart – one of my favorite newborn sessions to date and well worth it the time spent.
Here are just a few of my favorites from the two sessions…
It seems like only yesterday that I was capturing these tiny little newborns first portraits. Where has the time gone? I do have to say that this was easily one of my favorite sessions with these two little three year olds. They have such different personalities and are so sweet in their own little ways. Little sister has also grown into quite the little diva, she was the star of the show and a ton of fun to photograph.
Thank you mom and dad for coming back year after year, and I can’t wait to meet your new addition in a couple of weeks!

This wonderful family has been coming to me since 2007 for their portraits and I look forward to seeing them each time. Big brother used to be sooooo shy — not to say he still isn’t, but OMG he is a piece of cake at the age of 5! It was also great to see his 2 year old brother, what a little sweetie-pie. It was a fun session and I loved how the images turned out.
